Internet sites are starting to buzz that the public beta for Sharepoint 2010 is about to be released. ComputerWorld and NetworkWorld had announced that the beta was released on November 9, 2009 [the page was subsequently edited] with comments indicating that Friday November 13 was the revised release date.
As of Thursday morning, November 12, there was no release posted yet on the SharePoint Product Team blog nor the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 site. Although I personally anticipate the release coming around November 23-25, I'll be happy to share the news of an early release as soon as I get it. Stay tuned.
